Rock’in the Boat
We are currently working with clients and main contractors to provide marine support on a project to place scour protection rock under the historic Rockley Point Rail Viaduct. To maintain the safety and security of this viaduct, railway engineers decided to install scour protection using heavy rock infill placed against the retaining walls either side of the bridge to reduce scour and provide a gravity base. Moving the Monster Mould
Jenkins Marine was contracted to carry out the collection and delivery from Lee on Solent of a new mould, built by mould makers Monster Cam, back to the Sunseeker facility in Poole Harbour. The mould will be used for a new line of Sunseeker vessels. Read More
Jenkins Marine, The Foundation Driving Force at Totland Pier
Jenkins Marine Ltd. were contracted to supply and install 17 new piles to form the foundations for a new restaurant development. This project involved both the Doreen Dorward, our 50-tonne crane barge suited for piling projects and the Stour as a piles/materials transportation barge.
