C H Horn is a 26m long, modern, compact and efficient self-propelled hopper which was formerly equipped with a fixed grab crane. The fixed crane has now been removed to allow room on its deck for a specially modified tracked Hyundai Excavator. Read More

We have been hard at work dredging at Ashlett Sailing Club near Calshot, Southampton, to restore the waterways to previously maintained depths. The project parameters require up to 2m depth of material to be removed, with disposal to Nab Tower spoil ground to the East of the Isle of Wight. Read More

Winter dredging is well underway again with the new look split hopper barges Nab and Needles both back hard at work in the Solent area. Working together with our 30m x 9m backhoe dredger ‘Doreen Dorward’ and her onboard 50t long reach excavator, they enable dredging to continue around the clock to support marinas on the South Coast. They will be kept busy until Easter 2022 dredging Marinas!

Jenkins Marine was instructed by Isle of Wight Council to carry out a capital dredge in the River Medina where it approaches Newport harbour to increase the depth of the navigable channel. The full dredge length was over 500m from start point to its finish in Newport harbour. Read More
