We were delighted to be awarded the contract to dredge the Portsmouth Offshore Group’s Weevil Lake Marina site. This is a large dredging job involving the removal of some 10,000m3 of spoil funded and organised by POG themselves. The project required the removal of all the yachts, pontoons and other infastructure for our work. Only the piles remained, still providing a tricky navigation test for our crews. Read More
Our larger dredge set up, including backhoe dredger ‘Doreen Dorward’, and our 300m3 capacity self-propelled, split hopper barges 'Nab' and 'Needles’, have recently completed dredging at Haslar Marina in Gosport for Boatfolk Marinas. The dredge rig then relocated over to Newhaven, and are now carrying out a number of dredging operations at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Read More

We have been commissioned to install a range of environmental reef units that will provide new marine habitat at Hengistbury Head as part of the ambitious Hengistbury Head Long Groyne Project. This project is a part of a 17-year Beach Management Scheme, with the original 1930’s long groyne being replaced & upgraded between April – October 2024. The groyne is vital to protecting the surrounding headlands and beaches from erosion and sea level rise. Read More

Our dredgers have been busy working at various marinas along the south coast this winter, many within the Solent and South coast areas.
