We are excited to announce the addition of our new flat top pontoon barge “JML5019” to our pontoon fleet, boasting an impressive total deck capacity/deadweight of 1,700t. JML5019 is also wider than many other similar barges at 18.9m meaning it can accommodate a crawler crane up to 300t comfortably.
Pontoon barge JML5019 also benefits from two 914mm diameter x 18m long spud legs enabling precise, stationary positioning, and allowing it to withstand tides and currents without anchors, essential for construction, dredging, and crane work.

Currently located in London, the barge will be joining the Jenkins Marine fleet by the end of February 2026, and with full BV class and international loadline, she is ready to start work immediately.
Jenkins Marine Managing Director Dan Jenkins said:
“I’m excited to bring another larger pontoon in to complement the existing Jenkins Marine pontoon hire fleet to offer our customers a larger range of pontoon options for their project requirements.“
In combination with our tugs and workboats we aim to offer a complete service to clients, being able to offer coastal towage and mobilisation of pontoons to their project, and provision of tugs or workboats to support their daily operations and pontoon movements.
If you have a marine requirement you feel JML5019, or one of our other specialist vessels, would be suited for please feel free to get in touch to see where we can help.
